We fund start-up ministry that advances outreach and disciple-making. If you’re a Global Methodist Church congregation (or aligned evangelical Methodist church) under ~300 in worship—with clear potential for growth—we’re here to help you move from “we can’t afford it” to “we can’t afford not to.”
Eligibility
Denomination
GMC congregation or independent evangelical Methodist church aligned with GMC doctrine
Size
Small membership.
Typically < 300 in weekly worship attendance.
Trajectory
Demonstrated growth potential and community impact (beyond simply staying open)
Partnership
Willing to engage in coaching/consulting and provide brief impact updates
Review
Applications are reviewed by the FMMF Board
What we do

Provide a conduit of generosity with ministry partners who want to invest in growing the kingdom of God through local churches who are reaching their communities with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Biblical advice from years of ministry experience when you need it. Schedule hourly support across a range of topics—from planning to possibilities. This focused consultation will help clarify your goals, vision, and identify opportunities for growth.

Assist South Carolina students who intend to serve evangelical orthodox Methodist churches in South Carolina with tuition and expenses to attend Asbury Theological Seminary. Students will need to complete an essay that explains their Call to Ministry, Academic/Career goals and how this scholarship will help them achieve their calling and goals.
