Our mission is to equip smaller-member evangelical churches with the resources and coaching they need to grow and reach their communities for Jesus Christ.

The Foundation

Faith Moves Mountains began with a simple conviction:

If you don’t step out, you won’t find out what God can do.

What started as a way to help smaller congregations remove financial roadblocks has grown into a foundation that funds strategic projects, equips pastors, and tells the stories of God at work through local churches.

What We Do

FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIPS

When you partner with Faith Moves Mountains, you will be investing in small membership evangelical Methodist churches who have a passion and vision for reaching their communities for Christ but lack the financial resources or experience. 

By investing in Faith Moves Mountains, you will help mobilize and empower pastors and churches to make disciples of Jesus Christ locally and globally. 

Why Partner with Faith Moves Mountains?

  1. We will coach pastors based on our 40 plus years of ministry experience of growing churches, which includes Mt. Horeb Methodist Church in Lexington, SC.  Mt. Horeb grew from 80 in worship in 1994 to over 5,000 members today. We will work to help pastors and churches capture the Biblical vision and mission necessary to change the world. 

  2. We are committed to a distinct evangelical Wesleyan perspective rooted in the Infallible and Inspired Word of God. We believe God’s Word is the primary rule and ultimate authority for faith, morals, and practice. 

  3. With your support, we will be able to empower both pastors and lay leadership to impact their local communities for the Gospel.

  4. In essence, partnering with Faith Moves Mountains invests in equipping passionate, theologically sound and globally minded leaders and churches to move mountains to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. 

Assist South Carolina students who intend to serve evangelical orthodox Methodist churches in South Carolina with tuition and expenses to attend Asbury Theological Seminary. Students will need to complete an essay that explains their Call to Ministry, Academic/Career goals and how this scholarship will help them achieve their calling and goals.

Coaching

Coaching pastors to grow their ministry to impact their communities
with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Coaching will focus on:

  • Pastors developing and implementing their calling
    and spiritual gifts

  • Empowering Lay Leadership

  • Relational Evangelism

  • Building the ministry around Jesus and not the pastor

  • Pastors Spiritual Health

  • Relational Networking by connecting with Impact Leaders
    in the community and church

  • Discuss specific church needs and develop vision and mission
    of the church
